Traditional Taiwanese Breakfast: 阜杭豆漿

One of the best things about Taipei is their abundant breakfast places. Traditional Taiwanese breakfast usually include a bowl of soy milk and all sorts of chinese pastries. 阜杭豆漿 is a very popular breakfast spot for locals and it’s known for their homemade clay oven rolls. The rolls get sold out fast so my friends and I went there at 9am and we waited in line for half an hour. I ordered a bowl of hot soy milk, chinese salty crepe with eggs and caramel clay oven roll. The caramel roll was extremely good, it was made fresh on site and I love how crunchy it was. Hot caramel just started spilling out after I took a bite and it even burned my finger, so be careful when you have one! You can even go there for brunch since the portion is generous and everything is  very filling. I’ll definitely go to 阜杭豆漿 for another hearty breakfast again when I visit Taipei next time!
