Hong Kong feels like a burning oven these days. My friends and I went to Teakha for something icy to cool down ourselves this afternoon.
Time at Teakha is like being shielded away from the busy side of the town. I like how you can freshen your mind here.
Teakha is more than a tea cafe, it’s also a lifestyle concept store that wishes to promote a simple, sustainable and happy lifestyle.
All pastries are freshly baked on site. There are a variety of scones such as ginger, figs, apple & cinnamon, pineapple & honeycomb.
Being in a cafe like this reminds me of the time of my best friend and I going on a cafe tour in Montreal in Spring. Today was one of the many afternoons that I wish my best friend had come back to Hong Kong this summer (okay I’ll stop before I get even more upset, ha).
Here’s a summer playlist (Japan-themed) created by one of my favourite magazines, Kinfolk. You can check it out here.
